Account Settings
Your personal account settings live in Panel's Settings → Account (or Me → Account in the mobile app). Changes here apply to your entire account, not just the current workspace.
Change Password
- Go to "Account → Security".
- Enter your current password, then the new password twice.
- After saving, your current session stays signed in but other devices are signed out.
Change Email
- Go to "Account → Basic Info" and click "Change Email".
- Enter the new address; a 6-digit verification email is sent to the new address.
- Enter the code to finish. The original email can no longer be used to sign in.
Upload Avatar
In "Basic Info", click the avatar circle and pick an image. JPG/PNG supported; a square image (e.g. 512×512) is recommended. The new avatar applies to chat messages, task assignments and the team members list.
Enable Email Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
- Go to "Account → Security → Two-Step Verification".
- Enable "Email Code".
- From then on, each login sends a 6-digit code to your email which you enter at sign-in.
Recommended for all admins and owners.
Delete Account
At the bottom of "Account → Advanced" is a "Delete Account" button. Deleting will:
- Remove all workspaces you own (transfer ownership first if other members should keep the content).
- Permanently delete your personal data, long-term memory and files.
- This action cannot be undone.
TIP
If you just want to pause temporarily, "Sign out of all devices" or muting app notifications is easier than actually deleting the account.
