Desktop

Desktop is DYNARA's native Windows / macOS application. In addition to everything Panel can do, it can access your local machine to do things Panel can't.

Install

1. Download the installer for your OS from dynara.io/download.
2. On Windows, run the .exe; on macOS, drag the .app into "Applications".
3. First launch pops out a browser to finish sign-in, then switches back to the desktop app automatically.

Login (Browser Redirect)

Desktop doesn't handle passwords itself — it signs you in via the system default browser and carries the session back. Security is identical to Panel, and Google sign-in works too.

Desktop-Only Features

Local Folder Channel

Point any folder on your computer to a channel and the AI can read and write files in it. For example:

• Drop a report PDF into an "inbox" folder and the AI automatically summarizes it into an "outbox" folder.
• Save screenshots to a designated folder and the AI writes descriptions.

This only works on Desktop because it needs local file access.

Global Microphone Hotkey

Configure a system-level hotkey (e.g. Ctrl + Shift + Space) to instantly talk to the AI from any app. Releasing the key sends the message to the chat in your current workspace.

System Integration

• Window can pin or minimize to the system tray.
• Notifications use the OS native notification center.
• Launch on startup is configurable.

Sync With Other Platforms

Same account means chats, tasks, memory and calendar are shared with Panel and the mobile app in real time.

TIP

If your AI often handles local files (document organization, code, downloads), Desktop is practically essential.
