Google Calendar Sync Issues

1. Events Not Syncing After Connect

  • Panel → Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar — confirm status is "Connected".
  • The first full sync takes 1–5 minutes (depending on event count).
  • Refresh the Calendar page — pull down to refresh.

2. My New Events Aren't Pushed to Google

  • Confirm the authorization includes write scope (re-authorize and check "Modify your calendar").
  • Only the "primary calendar" is synced by default; secondary calendars must be enabled in Integrations.

3. Changes on Google Aren't Reflected in DYNARA

  • DYNARA receives Google changes via push notifications; webhook renewals are automatic but sometimes delayed.
  • Force it manually: Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar → Force Sync.

4. Recurring / Series Events

  • Editing a single occurrence in a series, DYNARA treats it as an exception.
  • To modify the whole series, edit it in Google Calendar directly and wait for sync.

5. Timezone Problems

  • An event's timezone is fixed by the workspace's timezone at creation time.
  • Check Settings → Workspace → Timezone.
  • For travel or cross-timezone events, write the timezone into the description to avoid confusion.

6. Disconnect

  • Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar → Disconnect.
  • After disconnecting, events stay in DYNARA but stop two-way syncing.
  • It's also recommended to revoke DYNARA's authorization at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
